Luna Haven provides RN-led, non-medical newborn/infant care services designed to support families during the postpartum period. Services may include newborn care, feeding support, soothing techniques, sleep guidance, and general infant care education.
Luna Haven does not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Any medical concerns should be directed to your pediatrician or healthcare provider.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Provide a safe, clean, and smoke-free environment for care

Disclose any relevant medical or safety concerns regarding the infant

Ensure a legal guardian is accessible during care hours if required

Provide necessary supplies (diapers, wipes, bottles, etc.)
3. Booking & Payment

Payment for all scheduled services during the upcoming week is due no later than sunday at 11:59 PM or prior to scheduled sunday shift whichever applies.

Accepted payment methods: major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of services.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance may be rescheduled (subject to availability)

Cancellations made within 48 hours of scheduled service are non-refundable
-
Same-day cancellations will be charged the full session rate
No refunds for unusued hours once a shift has begin.
5. Illness Policy
For the safety of all families and nurses:

Services may be rescheduled if there is illness in the home (fever, contagious conditions, etc.)

Luna Haven reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services if the nurse is unwell, will attempt to find a replacement.
6. Overnight Care Guidelines

A safe, designated space must be provided for the nurse to rest when the baby is sleeping
-
Parents understand that care includes active monitoring, but brief awake rest periods may occur when the infant is safely sleeping
7. Independent Contractor Clause
Luna Haven nurses may operate as independent contractors. While all providers are qualified Registered Nurses, they are not acting as medical providers during services.
8. Limitation of Liability
Luna Haven is not liable for:

Pre-existing conditions or medical complications

Outcomes related to parenting choices or care decisions outside of sessions

Indirect or incidental damages
Clients agree to hold Luna Haven harmless except in cases of gross negligence.
9. Privacy & Confidentiality
All client information is kept strictly confidential and used only for service-related purposes.
10. Safety & Right to Refuse Service
Luna Haven reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if:

The environment is unsafe

There is inappropriate behavior

Terms are violated
11. Agreement
By booking services with Luna Haven, clients acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
